Phase 2 - Accounting and Advertising
In this phase, you will learn how to track how much money your business is making and how much money it is spending. This is called accounting. You will use a useful tool called a spreadsheet to help you do this.
The software we will use to create our spreadsheet is called Microsoft Excel. You will create one Excel file that will have three spreadsheets inside of it. These spreadsheets are:
ADVERTISING
The second half of Phase 2 is advertising. Here, you will create your own commercial advertising your business and its products. Remember, commercials are short, only about 15-30 seconds long, so you will have to cram a lot of information in a short time AND make it creative.
We will use the iPads to help us film and do audio recording. Then we will use a program called Windows Movie Maker to help us put it all together.
