Storage device - hardware components that store data, even when a computer is turned off.
File - a collection of related information that has been given a unique name.
BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) - a set of programs that tells the computer equipment how to start up. It runs in the background when a computer is first started. The BIOS tells the computer how to find its parts and the operating system.
