Class Rules
Rules are important to help people know what to do, how to behave and what's acceptable. The rules in this class are designed to help everyone be safe and have a good time learning how to use technology.

Consequences for Rule Violations
There are consequences for our actions. Each infraction of a rule will result in a checkmark going by your name on the board. There is a consequence associated with each checkmark.
1st Infraction – You are given a warning, but your name is on the board.
2nd Infraction (✔) – You will be moved from your computer and will complete an alternate paper-based assignment at a desk.
3rd Infraction (✔✔) – You will have a detention on the next Thursday.
4th Infraction (✔✔✔) – Your parents will be called and a parent-teacher conference may be arranged.
5th Infraction (✔✔✔✔) – You will get an office referral and will have to fill out a Return to Class form, signed by your parents.
Mr. Hawkins reserves the right to write an office referral for grievous offenses without going through each infraction stage.
